Printing DPD labels for seller fulfilled prime - blurry barcodes!

Hi all, hope someone can help us.

We are setting up seller fulfilled prime and want to use DPD for shipping however, our labels are printing blurry through our thermal label printer.

We're using:

1. Apple MacBook Pro

2. Citizen-CL-S521 Thermal Printer

3. QZ Tray (unable to download Amazon print connect as looks to be discontinued).

4. 6x4 inch labels

We've followed all the guides correctly and the labels still print blurry on Mac. Its very frustrating. When we select buy shipping on Amazon, we can either print in PDF or ZPL.

PDF - labels come out blurry

ZPL - labels come out in ZPL coding language

We are unable to amend the printer settings on Amazon. We actually use DPD for our own DCT website orders and have no problems printing labels from the DPD app.

Surely there are other sales with the same issue, is it the MAC? Amazon customer service absolutely clueless as usual pointing us at a help forum which is not related. Please help!

Hey. We had this too. The only way were able to resolve the issue was to swap labels. They print fine on the Royal Mail supplied labels with the yellow backing, but cheaper labels are always blurred

are you able to print from your phone to test if its MAC related issue or printer itself? do you also see the option ''fit to page'' selected? try change this selection to ZOOM level and adjust accordingly e.g. 100 or 95% and see how the label changes before printing? All the best

We had a similar issue with some labels. I tested by making a really high quality PDF and still had the same issue. Tried other labels (Royal Mail) and they were fine. If you send with Royal Mail try get some or order some higher quality branded labels and see if it makes a difference.

Probably teaching you to suck eggs here, but have you checked the printer settings for dithering. That needs to be set to none for clear barcodes.

Hello,

I suspect that you settings in seller central have reverted to PNG. I have had this happen before and they should be in ZPL format. You only see the option to change it when you use the bulk buy shipping option and have more than one item selected. It appears towards the lower half of the page.

Hope this helps
