I am beginning to hate Amazon .....Verification
Ok so we have the obvious scammers that Amazon don't support us for, we have the really old website that is SOOOOO clunky to list things on compared to the competition, Pulling listings for no apparent reason, Customer service that ( fill in your own wording here ), We have flaming hoops of legislation to jump through, which only Amazon seem to make us obey, and we accept that is part of life as a seller on Amazon. BUT here's the last straw....
They are holding my earnings to ransom, because for some reason they were really happy with who I was and the bank account I used for the last few years, But now it seems they don't trust me. I have completed the 3 ring circus of confirming stuff, sending in documents validation this, validating that, but still I cannot get to MY money sitting in Amazon's account. No pre-warning at all, just WHAM "You need to prove who you are ", meanwhile Amazon are going to hold all your hard-earned money in THEIR account ( which I have not asked them to send me documents to prove ). I am getting to my wits end TBH. What's the point in continuing to sell on Amazon, if I cannot get the money I earned.

So another 5 back and forth messages to Scammer Support today so far. They still don't believe that I am a sole-trader and/or I'm from the UK ?
Sent them so far:
3 Screenshots of what I have entered as details,
- Uploaded various documents including:
- Driving License
- UTR Numbered Document
- Bank Statement
Pretty much enough to open a bank account in this country, but it still isn't enough for Scammer Support. I have offered my Fingerprints, Retinal scan and DNA, but with these " people " I am not sure even that will be enough.
REMEMBER : TAKE OUT EVERY PENNY EVERY DAY, OR THEY WILL DO THIS TO YOU TOO WITH NO WARNING!

I do wonder how many people this is happening to. I've been going around in circles for 8 months now. Healthy account but no payouts for 8 months and no answers. They are making a lot of interest on all of our money. I'm going through the financial ombudsman now. Hope you manage to get it sorted!

I went through this as well. (In addition to verification impossibilities at another time). After – don't remember – maybe a year/year and a half they suddenly recognised their "mistake" and released what they were owing me all along. Even apologised, suggesting that I can sue them. The sum in question was not large, so I did not, but that was my weakness. I suspect that they must be doing this to many in order to let money of others grow with interest on Amazon's account.

Just thought I would add something I read on a similar post.
Amazon are very, very, very pedantic when it comes to documents being absolutely the exact same as what is in your account info or business information.
You may notice that most of the forms you receive from HMRC and the like, such as Certificate of Incorporation and many other official forms will show your details in CAPITAL LETTERS...
For example: MYOWNBUSINESS LTD
Check the info showing in your Amazon account and make sure it is exactly the same as on official forms. Amazon have been known to reject official forms you send in because it doesn't match what you have put in you account info...
For example Myownbusiness Ltd
Yes it is trivial but check your official government forms even your passport drivers license in fact everything you send in. If it is in CAPITAL LETTERS then make sure your account info is exactly the same. If it says JOHN DOE on your passport you should put JOHN DOE and not John Doe when submitting it.
