Amazon Global Logistics - What is Shipper/Exporter of Record (China to UK)
Hi there,
I'm trying to book a shipment with Amazon Global Logistics (AGL) from China to UK
I will be using Amazon AGL and will have them collect my order form the supplier's address and have the supplier load onto the truck. I have also chosen EXW.
The Shipping parties and product description flagged up as showing incomplete, and I need some clarification on the following:
Origin/ Shipper (The party who coordinates origin customs clearance and clears your cargo for export (also called the exporter of record)
From my understanding:
- With AGL, Amazon acts as the exporter of record and handles the customs clearance and documentation requirements for FBA Export shipments.
- Sellers do not need to be the exporter of record when using FBA Export with AGL. Amazon takes care of exporting on the seller's behalf.
So who's contact details do I need to enter in the Origin/ Shipper section also known as the exporter of record?
We have a pickup scheduled for next week and need to book this shipment ASAP to avoid delays. Any helpful responses are appreciated.

Shipper normally is supplier
you(seller) are the impoter . AGL will use your importer info to importer the goods for you.
AGL is the freight fowarder only.
Normally the shipping fee of AGL is relatively higher than a freight forwarder. We cooperate a china freight forwarder before. They can give us both air and sea freight shipping no matter DDP(Delivered Duty Paid) or DDP. You can try: chinafreightgroup
