Good morning,

Is this for standard-sized unit boxes, or for master cartons/case packs of multiple units?

One more question - in the News_Amazon post above, it says "Starting June 20", but this announcement was made on June 30. Is there a typo in the announcement and this is really taking effect on July 20, or did this change already take effect?

Important thing is will AWD accept this carton size? No update from them.

This could be huge, but only if is applicable to AWD! Some more clarity would be useful.

Does this apply to the size of the packaging box sent to AWD

Hello Sellers,

Thank you for your questions. Please see the updates below:

For the launch date clarification:

  • The implementation date stated on this post is accurate (6/20/25) You can see that the FBA shipping and routing requirements help page has already been updated. I can also confirm that packages that were already sent under the new dimensions will be accepted without issues.

For AWD questions:

  • This change is for FBA shipments only. For Amazon Warehousing and Distribution (AWD) shipments, the original size restrictions still apply - boxes must remain within 25 x 25 x 25 inches and 50 lb. weight limit.

I hope this helps to answer your questions and provide some more clarity. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Best, Dougal

Does this affect fulfillment as well? Will the length increase for outgoing shipments at all?
