"Copy Listing" How it works?

Hi, I hope you all are doing great. I have 2 questions. Kindly guide me for this.

1st is that I tried adding a new product and it shows me message "Request Approval" or "Copy Listing", I requested for approval with proper documents as instructed and got approved for that listing. I have bought products directly from brand. Now Can I create a copy of that listing with proper brand name and with all details in this case? While I am still selling on the original listing.

My second question would be let's say that I bought products directly from brand but due to any issue I couldn't got approval, In that case would that be fine to copy listing with the original brand details and start selling on that copy?

Thanks!

Hi there @Seller_G18unLJ4bAdPR,

Thank you for reaching out with your questions. The "Copy Listing" function you are describing is for making new ASINs/Products but basing them on an original listing. For example, you could use Copy Listing to create a new ASIN/Listing to list a product and make a new color. You should ensure that the products you offer match the ASIN you are listing against. You shouldn't need to use copy listing unless you are making a new product and want to retain a large portion of the attributes. If you have more specific questions on your issue please provide your most recent Seller Support Case and I will investigate further. Thank you for your understanding.
