How to change from a DPM (Display Parent Model) to a DCM (Display Child Model)
Hi all,
I'm having a bit of a nightmare with an ASIN. One of our popular ASINs has been merged in to a variation listing, which we have no issue with. The issue we're having is the variation parent ASIN title is completely incorrect, and when someone clicks on our variation the title doesn't change. I contacted Seller Support who stated the following:
"In this regard please be informed that upon review, I am able to verify that the Variation is currently in DPM [Display Parent Model]. Please understand that in this situation, I kindly suggest you to update the variation to DCM [Display Child Model]."
Does anyone know how we can fix it?

Just had this response to a case I opened for the same issue which is quite a change from previous responses - yet to try it out though:

We have reviewed your issue and found that the model_name attribute is missing, which is one of the primary grouping attribute. If you want to add child ASIN: **** to parent ASIN: ****, please update the same values for model_name attribute for all the child ASINs which needed to be added under parent ASIN: B0741B81FG. Once the model name is updated, kindly provide us the list of child ASINs to be added to parent ASIN: ****, we will fix the variation.We look forward to further assisting you with this matter.We regret any inconvenience this may have caused, and we look forward to hearing from you.
