If Amazon generated the return label, then the shipment is covered under Amazon’s carrier contract, not yours. That means you are not liable for the loss.

What you need to do is:

1. Go to Orders → Manage Returns

2. Find the return in question

3. Click “File SAFE-T Claim”

Because:

• The buyer used an Amazon pre-paid return label

• The carrier EVRi was contracted by Amazon, not you

• Therefore the loss is Amazon’s responsibility, not yours

In the SAFE-T claim, simply state:

“Buyer used Amazon-issued return label. The parcel was lost in transit by EVRi. Requesting reimbursement under Amazon’s carrier contract.”

Amazon will then:

• Reimburse you the full item value, including tax

• Leave the buyer refund in place (they are not charged)

Time limit:

You must file the SAFE-T claim within 60 days of the refund being issued.

Hello @Seller_ofkaq656XneBp,

As per our Pre-paid returns for Fulfilled by Merchant orders help page, here are the correct steps when a return is lost or damaged in transit and you used pre-paid label:

"You will be responsible for filing a claim directly with the carrier if a return is lost or damaged in transit. If this happens, and the item was not refunded through Refund at First Scan, process a full refund to the customer and file a claim directly with the carrier to receive a reimbursement."

Please contact Evri to file your claim with them.

Regards,

Sakura
