Cancellation by Buyer, Stock not going Back On

Anyone else having stock quantities added or removed by Amazon?

@Sarah_Amzn can you help? = Case: 10479146172

We have an ASIN that has been live for years.

Last one in stock sold, then was cancelled by the Buyer, not by us.

It must have then gone back to showing 1 in stock again as either that Buyer or another bought it. Then that Buyer cancelled that order as well.

At that point the stock has shown as 0 since then. So, none for sale, even though it should show as 1 .

Stock not going Back On, or even an extra 1 showing in stock has happened before, as if we add 1 now to correct this as we have been told to do previously, sometimes it updates at some point in the future and shows as 2.

When 2 then sell, we have issues as only 1 really in stock, and Amazon always deny they are to blame of course!

(FBM Order).

We raised with SS:

It currently shows 0 stock, but there was just 1 (one) left in stock. I can see that the item sold, Order 206-2823851-1924335 and the order cancelled by the Buyer, NOT by us. I can then see it was bought again 206-3717499-7081913 and then the Buyer cancelled (same Buyer or a different one, it does not say).

So I have 2 cancelled orders. But then it was not added back to stock.

This goes to prove Amazon make errors, when they always say it is the Seller not adding stock correctly!

Anyone else having the same or similar issues?

Yes I have seen this happen too.

I think part of the problem is Amazon systems taking so long to update hence as a seller you don't know when/if Amazon will re-adjust your stock.
