Changing the legal entity
Hi, First of all Im really sorry if this question has been posted already . Basically Im trying to change the legal entity from individual to limited company and the seller verification has provided me a link to change this under Identity information. I have updated the company information like name, number and address as in the picture below but how do I upload the documents please? it also asks for a Letter of authorisation issued to myself (I have already prepared the LOA) but theres no way I can upload them? I woud appreciate if someone could help me on this please becaue I dont want to go back and forth specially with seller verification as it would take months and months. Many Thanks

We have just done this ourselves - waited six months for the link to be sent to us… lo behold, we have submitted everything and now all of our listings are inactive pending verification 
God knows how long this will take - been six months already!

Hi, I got the link from seller verification about 4 days after I request them to change it. I changed the Business and contact information, primary contact details, Bank details of the company, charge method and also managed to upload the Letter of authorisation as well. Now the Bank details shows as verified. My seller account status says “Information provided”. I have also noticed “Transfer Account” is enabled now (it wasn’t before). But I’m not quite sure if I should click on Transfer Account Because either verification/seller support didnt ask to do so. No clear information from them. Please see the pictures of my Identity information section and picture of what I see when I click on Transfer Account.
@BarryM and @Lady-Trixie Did you guys go through similar process? Sorry @BarryM I saw one of your similar post so thought I’d tag and ask your advise as well. What do you think I should do please? your inputs much appreciated

Hi,
Just an update, Got an email from Amazon today morning saying
“Dear Seller, Good news! Your Selling on Amazon payment account has been activated. We will get in touch with you if we need more information”
but the Account status still says “information provided” so I emailed seller verification and they emailed back to me saying
"I understand that you want to confirm if your account has already passed the verification process. In this regard, after investigation, I found out that your account hasn’t entered the full KYC verification phase yet, hence hasn’t pass the full KYC verification process yet, but the Performance Notification you received has been sent you to inform you that the documentation previously provided has already passed the review process, hence has been verified.
We can confirm you that at the moment you do not need to take any further action in regard to the verification of your seller account, and that your account is currently already active and in normal status, so you can continue to sell your products on Amazon and receive your disbursements."
they are confirming account has been verified. But I’m totally new to this and confused, Can someone confirm me if I can start sending the inventory/selling and receive disbursments at this stage please?

Is there any seller here who managed to change legal entity from sole trader to limited company (single member) in 2021?
I have a sole trader seller account and i wish to change to my new limited company (single member= me). Support center told me to close my account and apply for a new one. I emailed the verification team and wait for their reply.
Now i have active inventory in fba. If verification takes too long, i might close my account and apply for a new one.
What is your advice?

Just to give an update, Account status of new sellers will say “information provided” if the verification has gone through (means account is normal and active). and they can start sell and disburse. But once they hit 15,000 KYC will be triggered and re-verified and the status will then changed to Active/valid. Seller verfication confirmed this

Hi guys…so I created my seller account as a sole trader a few weeks ago and got verified literally within days (had the video verification etc). I decided to change to Ltd company after this (I thought it would be straightforward but clearly it isn’t so totally my mistake-shouldve set up as Ltd in the first place!). I havent made any listings or anything yet.
I put all the info in about transferring and utr num etc but there was no upload button for docs. I had an email asking why I want to change and that I’d be prompted to upload docs. I’ve had nothing since then. Tried to contact but not getting anywhere. Any advice on how to get them to allow me to upload verification documents?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

So is it the enabling of the ‘Transfer Account’ link that takes amazon time? Or is it the actual verification of the documents once this link has been followed and the documents have been uploaded?

I am trying to apply for legal entity change. When try to start the legal entity change/account transfer from sole trader to new limited company. I have this image, comes with a tick by default and so should i tick all of them or what? It is all gray, it has my original sole trader information, I can not edit my new company information here. My business type and legal name will change. I do not understand the steps to do it. Any advice please?
