Seller Fulfilled Prime - DPD Damage Claim

I have followed AMAZON information to raise with DPD for a damage claim, but DPD say as Amazon’s DPD account only DPD can claim and they would pay Amazon.

Anyone made a claim and been paid, please inform how

We have had identical issues, escalated but with no reply. Dpd say this email is for internal amazon communication only and no claims will be accepted.

We are currently down over £200 due to this.

Amazon tell us to email dpd and quote amazon policy, dpd say they have no idea what we are talking about and to contact amazon. Rinse and repeat for the last 6 weeks. Still no resolution, amazon have now stopped replying on our case open.

Seller fulfilled prime is a can of worms.

i am unsure as to what the claim is for was it you sent stock into amazon using their carrier ??

if this is the case then amazon are responsible for refunding you not DpD as its amazons account you will need to send the costs ie invoices for the total amount which is why DpD is saying to contact amazon as its their account used Dpd will have to get a claim from amazon and then they will refund amazon not you but you should not have to wait for this amazon normally refunds once they have the proof

if your talking about you used amazons buy now postage then its DpD who are responsible and need to refund you in this case amazon have only acted as a reseller and its not an account they only supply the tracking number or what ever you get Dpd are still the service brought i know this as with royal mail you purchase the buy now postage but any problems you file a claim with royal mail claims amazon wont pay anything on the buy now the same as ebay you buy postage online anything goes wrong you cannot claim against ebay in fact they are worse because if you dont use the brought postage or made a error you have no way of cancelling it or getting a refund if unused

That is not the case, contact Harry Nesbitt amazonmfnclaims@dpdgroup.co.uk

They will send you an on line claim form… in place of your DPD account number you will need to use your Amazon Merchant ID to log into the form and then the rest as as per a normal DPD claim.
