Different image language for different markets

I'd like German language on the images for my German listing and English for my UK listing.... simple..... not. I've tried uploading manually and it seems not possible to have this work. Raised the case with seller support and have been struggling for months now.

Hello @Seller_8i94vf42jhIHN,

I understand you’re looking to set different language images for your German and UK Amazon listings. This is a great way to tailor your product presentation for different markets.

To help you with this, you can use the “Using your preferred language in your inventory File template” feature. Here’s how you can approach this:

  1. Navigate to the “Download a blank template” on the Add Products page in Seller Central.
  2. Select your desired template language in Step 1. This allows you to download a template with attribute names and definitions in your chosen language.
  3. Choose your product categories in Step 2, as you normally would.
  4. Click “Generate template” to download the template.
  5. Add your listing content to the template in the language you selected.

It’s important to note that whichever language you select for submission, you’ll need to use that language for all SKUs in that template. You can only submit in a single language per SKU.

For your brand name, we recommend providing it in the manner you expect it to be shown to your customer, regardless of the language. So if you have an English brand name, please provide it in English.

If you’re unhappy with any machine-translated content, you can submit a full update on the SKU in English, but be aware that your non-default language content will be removed.

This process should help you set up different language images for your German and UK listings.

If you run into any issues with the above or have any follow up questions, please share the case ID from contacting Seller Support, and I'll review to see what options exist for escalation.

Regards,

- Manny
