NEW** Verification login with characters as well as password!

This is new…what do you guys think? had to do it yet?
Took me a couple of attempts as always the swirl of letters meant to confuse the robots confused me too! :rofl:

I’ve had that too for the last few days. Irritating that you have to input the password twice but I suppose it’s added security.

I first got that about two or three months ago. It’s popped up about twice since then.

The thing that annoys me with those things is that they are supposed to unreadable by a machine, but half the time they can’t even be read by a human… which kind of defeats the purpose.

I get it sometimes, but its not a new thing, I’ve been getting it randomly on both my seller and personal account for the last few months occasionally. I can go weeks without seeing it, then one day every time I log in it may appear.

I think it’s incase you dont have two step verification SMS switched on.
I do have it on and it works great across over a dozen devices - accept my main desktop PC. I have to enter it every time on that device even though I always select “Don’t ask on this device again”.
I’ve never been asked to use the “anti-bot” image verification though, maybe that’s why…?

I use two factor authernticator app, so never have that issue unless I use a VPN or forget its on, then it always asks for characters as well.
