Account Status & Product Selling Queries
I have recently created my account and after sending Amazon necessary documents and setting up my bank account details I have the Account Status “Information Provided. Your account is under €15,000 disbursement limit”. From what I gather this is normal and it will remain like this until I have earned 15000 euros, and then it will be assessed again, is that correct?
Does anyone reading this currently have this status on their Account Details page? If so please can you confirm this and then verify the following two things for me:
-
When you enter Account Status into the search box on the main screen and then click the orange Continue button on the right the message that pops up says that your account is “pending verification”
-
Despite this, you have sent stock to Amazon, the products in your listing have the status Active, they can be found on the website and sales are taking place as you’d expect?
In another thread I posted people have indicated that the final status for an account is “Valid”. However I am unsure as to whether I need to wait until this status exists on my account before I am able to sell products. If I do need to wait I don’t want to send my products to Amazon only to have them sit in a warehouse for months while they validate my account fully while billing me for the storage priviledge.
You may or may not know the following, but will the status on my account details page remain as “Information Provided” until I have 15000 euros in sales? Is that what the wording below it means? Because if so then this seems seperate to the verification of my account. I have attempted to register my company brand but have received a message stating that it is on hold until my account is fully verified. So if the status on the screen is not going to change any time soon does this mean that Amazon only allow companies who’ve made over 15000 euros in sales register a brand and put videos on their product listings? Would seem an odd decision if this is the case, and based on the number of products I am planning to sell I will never reach this figure.
Can anyone help?

Yes, they will reassess you once you hit the 15k. This is completely normal.
“Pending verification” means exactly what it says on the tin. They have simply not yet verified all of your account details yet. Once completed, it will state “Valid”.
It does not mean that you are unable to send stock in to FBA and you can probably sell them. Assuming you have access to the product/category etc.
However, it will mean more than likely, that you will be unable to withdraw any funds until the verification has completed.
Also, if you fail the process, then you will have to remove/destroy your stock.
It is far safer, to wait until the process is completed, or at the very least, only sell FBM until it is.
