Can I add text to a photo to describe variations?
I read on the reference page, under 'Product Image Requirements' and 'All product images,' that text is not allowed on a listing photo. Is this a cut and dry rule?
One of the photos I would like to upload has four shirts and each shirt is labeled by color. There is no other text in the listing photos except for a size chart.
I tried looking up an answer on Google and in the forums but I have been unable to find one. I appreciate your help in advance.

Michelle at Amazon here. The main image may not have any text on it. This rule is enforced and listings are taking down when found to be in violation. I have created a post a couple of months ago around how to get the best out of your images, which you can find here.
