Amazon continuing to sell an out of stock product

I'm oos of a product (FBA) but the orders keep coming and now have 10 pending orders. I've checked this morning and I can still buy the product. No other sellers. China has dispatched the item (finally after 2 weeks of them also being oos).

Whilst it is not right for Amazon to do this there will be no negative impact on your account. Any feedback relating to cancelled orders will be removed or struck through. Amazon cancelling the order as there is no stock doesn't impact your account metrics.

It is possible if you have created a shipment plan for stock coming into Amazon and they are selling it with long delivery dates knowing the stock is coming in. Again if customers cancel this as they don't want to wait it won't impact your account.

Hello, My reply may be completely useless, but it may be relevant. I had a problem in the past when using 3rd party software. I made changes to inventory in the 3rd party application and submitted a inventory sync for both MF and FBA, in doing so all the FBA items duplicated so when they sold out , there was another listing for them which I could not see. managing director at amazon was needed to get a solution.
