Amazon seller fees

discussion.Hi I need some help please with the amazon seller feels. I have 2 products let's take the first one my core fees are showing as £5.51 with a net profit of £10.24 but im actually getting £9.15 why is this? Is it that VAT? I am not VAT registered in the UK and why do they not include that in the core fees its very misleading. The other product is similar core fees showing as £4.84 with a net proceed of £7.15 but what I'm actually getting is £6.03 so this difference of around £1 per item is not what I had expected as I look at the core fees. Thanks in advance

Hello @Seller_PV4J6jJxA3nTD

Thanks for reaching out to Amazon Forums.

The discrepancy you're seeing between your expected net profit and what you're actually receiving is likely due to additional fees that aren't included in the core fees calculation.

To get a clear picture of all fees:

  • Go to your Reports section in Seller Central
  • Check the "Transaction View" report for a detailed breakdown of all fees per transaction

For more specific information about your account and fees, please contact Seller Support directly. They can provide a detailed explanation of all charges and help you understand your profit calculations better.

Best,

Nano

All fees do not include VAT as this is standard in most business transactions and price lists.

If you are not vat registered, you need to be aware and account for this.

Amazon should be clearer but that will not change.
