Straps and tape is not allowed? New packing requirements

Hi guys,

New packaging requirements does not allow straps or tapes.

  1. Boxes must not be secured or bundled together using plastic straps or tape.
2.Boxes must not be covered in packing tape as this prevents them from being able to be recycled.

What do you use instead?

Is there some other straps or tape we can use for heavy, large oversize items?

Water Based Gummed Tape, like they use is stronger than tape and recyclable!

You can use tape to secure the flaps but the box cannot be covered in tape.

You can’t join two separate boxes together, by straps or tape.

think you have misread the new rules.

Tape is obviously not prohibited, the adjoining of two boxes with tape or plastic straps is. Additionally you cant wrap the whole box in tape as some people do.

point 1) It means you cannot tape two (or more) boxes together and send into FBA. The boxes should be placed in one bigger outer box.
