There are 2 things here - your seller account which is either a business or individual account and the selling plan you sign up for which is either a professional or individual selling plan .

Regarding your seller account, if you are buying things to sell then you are a business and must be registered as such both on Amazon and with HMRC. If you are selling off your old used/unwanted stuff then you should have an individual account.

Regarding the selling plan - the £25+VAT per month is the fee for the professional selling plan which you would have signed up for.

If in Account Info it says you are not validated yet, then no you are not verified.

The Handmade category requires approval I think, so I guess you must have signed up for that - do you manufacture your products? There must be something about the product you are trying to list that makes the system think it should be in handmade?
