Amazon Currency Converter, is it worth it?

Hi, does anyone have any experience selling on Amazon.com using Amazon Currency Converter?

I’m toying with the idea of selling on Amazon.com, but i’m torn between using Amazons Convertor and opening a US bank account, i read that Amazon charge a 4% conversion fee, is this still the case?

If anyone has any input or other ways to sell on Amazon.com without incurring extra fees i’d be forever grateful.

Amazon offer a poor rate of exchange for currency conversion from USD$ to GBP and Euro to GBP that equates to a 3-4% loss on exchange but sometimes this is the only easiest option depending on your circumstances, the other option is to setup a USD$ bank account with withdraw the funds is USD$ and convert at more competitive market or bank rate.

A Payoneer account is probably your best option for better exchange rates. Though their customer support is abysmal.
