Seeking Help with Frontend Display Issue on Amazon - Deals Functionality Not Showing
Hello Fellow Sellers and Tech Experts,
I am reaching out for some urgent help with an issue that has cropped up on my Amazon storefront. This is the second time I've encountered this problem, and I'm hoping someone here might have some advice on how to resolve it.
**Issue Overview:**
Despite the backend indicating that everything is functioning correctly, the frontend is not displaying the 'Limited time deal' promotions as it should. This is a critical issue as it directly impacts customer engagement and sales.
**Steps Taken So Far:**
1. I've verified that the backend is operational and all settings are correctly configured for the deal feature.
2. I've attempted to refresh the frontend by clearing cache and cookies, as well as trying different browsers and devices.
3. I've also checked for any connectivity issues that might be affecting the display.
**Interaction with Amazon Support:**
I contacted Amazon's official customer service, but unfortunately, they were unable to provide a clear solution. They suggested that I reach out again if the problem persists, which is not particularly helpful given that this is a recurring issue.
**Request for Assistance:**
I am turning to this community for help because I believe there might be others who have faced similar challenges. If anyone has any insights, troubleshooting tips, or solutions to this problem, I would be extremely grateful. Your experience and knowledge could be invaluable in resolving this issue and ensuring a smooth shopping experience for my customers.
I understand that technical issues can be intricate, but I am hopeful that with the collective expertise here, we can find a way to address this.
Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide.
Best regards,

There is a common misconception among Amazon sellers that if you put your product on sale on the back end of Amazon, it will show up in a distinct way on the front end. (such as "Limited time only" or a red cross and a percentage off)
This is not the case. Amazon detects something known as a "reference price" which is the lowest price your product was purchased for in the last 90 days. If you put your product on sale but its actually a higher price than the reference price, Amazon will just display the price as normal...without anything additional.

Hello @Seller_gAhjb89KUxmED
Thank you for posting your inquiry to the Forums.
I came across your thread and wanted to inquire whether you received resolution on your concern. I also wanted to link this help page which provides additional detail on list price and reference price which @Seller_NbYSGJ8Tehgbv mentioned.

We used to set price 1 cent below the max allowed price and the issue gets fixed. Let me know if it works for you.
