Sales are in decline for the past few days

Hi,

I’ve noticed a significant decline in our sales over the past few days, and I wanted to check if anyone else is seeing a similar trend.

We haven’t made any major changes to our listings, pricing, or advertising strategies. Inventory is healthy, and there are no active suppressions or performance issues on the account. Despite this, sessions and conversions seem to be down noticeably.

Could this be related to any recent category-specific trends, or a wider seasonal slump? as we sell sporting goods.

Thank you!

Could well be seasonal. Some schools have broken up for Easter others break up today. This means more people taking holidays, spending family time so this equates in less sales.

Weather has also been good and this can sometimes equate in lower sales in some categories, or higher sales in others.

Economy is a worry for many, a lot of prices have gone up this month so people maybe cutting back.

Next week sales may go down further if you are FBM as estimated delivery dates will be longer due to the Easter Bank Holiday. Longer delivery dates often mean less sales.

If it is any help my sales have noticeably gone down this week. Nothing has changed and I am just putting it down to seasonal changes. It may well not pick up now until after the Easter bank holiday weekend.

Pleased to read this, as we have had NO orders for 7 days, literally none, we have on average 20-30 a day. Zero. I called seller help and they said its because we didnt have the buy box?? Rubbish we have 99% of the buy box as we are a brand.

I remember in the old days, a looong time ago (!) you could ask SS to 'refresh' your listings, and that always seemed to give a wee boost in sales. Not sure that is such a thing nowadays. ?

Sales have been shockingly poor since the beginning of April. I just went 13 days with nothing.

Ebay isn't a lot better either. Just think everyone is skint at the moment with extra bills to pay.

I just went a week with no orders... they're still coming in on my other selling platform though but April's always quiet for me, also the easter holidays and nice weather combine to keep people otherwise occupied . Hope things pick up for you soon

I was doing ok until today. It's been dire. It's the easter holidays, though, so things should pick up again soon.

Have noticed the same decline in sales for golf items, I think it's just the ecomonic situation at present. No one has spare money for non essential items.

I sell less and less each and every day. Amazon is on a constant downward spiral for me since last year.
