Customer asked for 50% when denied and asked for pictures to proceed with return & collection, customer left negative feedback

A customer claimed a small damage to the headboard and asked for refund fair enough we asked for the pictures and offered collection for full refund or 10% to keep the item as he also mentioned he can get it repaired but Customer asked for 50% when denied and asked for pictures of the item showing it's ready for collection customer left negative feedback saying (Headboard was lovely but damaged - shocking bad customer service avoid at all costs)
My question is when asking for pictures to proceed with return request is consider bed customer service, this customer clearly want full refund and trying to keep the item as well.
But this time I decided to stood up and will not be abused by scammers.

Is it really a scam? The customer received a damaged item which you agreed had happened by offering a refund, at this point you didn't ask for pictures.
What you couldn't agree on is the amount of the refund.
You can't ask for pictures to proceed with a return request. You may ask if the customer can provided them but it is not a condition of returning the item.
I doubt your customer service is shocking but customers tend to use these type of words if they don't get what they want.
If they have opened a return request you will need to proceed with that and get the item collected (assuming this is how you handle returns). If you don't the customer will be able to raise an A-Z and get the full amount back without returning the item.
Whether you can get the negative feedback removed is doubtful. I don't see as it stands that it has any grounds for removal.
