GPSR Product Documents For CDs

Hi all

I am hoping someone can help as Support just sending me links and i'm going round in circles.

Ca anyone please advise what sort of product documents you are supposed to add for pre-recorded Compact Discs on the EU sites....and then how did you manage to upload in bulk, rather than adding item by item as this will take days if not weeks lol

Thanks in advance for any help anyone can offer...

Cheers

Mark

Hello @Seller_gUYj0SBJs4MdK,

Please find below the information the GPSR team has provided on this topic:

"The General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) covers most non-food consumer products sold in the European Union, including used, repaired, reconditioned products, and spare parts. However, there are several exceptions to the GPSR's scope, which include:

- Medicinal products for human or veterinary use

- Food and beverages

- Animal feed

- Living plants and animals (including genetically modified organisms, genetically modified microorganisms in contained use, and products directly related to their future reproduction)

- Animal by-products and derived products

- Plant protection products (e.g., pesticides)

- Equipment operated by a service provider within the context of a transport service for consumers, where consumers are not directly operating the equipment

- Aircraft

- Antiques

For security reasons, we cannot disclose specific details regarding the requirements for books, CDs, and DVDs. We kindly request your understanding in this matter."

Regarding bulk upload, our colleague in DE has posted a detailed guidance.

I recommend reviewing this thread if you haven't done so already:

Kind regards,

Sarah.
