How long does it take for Amazon to responsd to account suspention appeals?

How long does it take for Amazon to respond to account suspension appeals?

I was hoping for some help. We had our Amazon.co.uk account suspended on the 7th of March for selling bladed items (replacement blades for corn removal knifes and hair trimmers) without age verified postage. Knowing that it was best that we got our response right first time, we prepared our plan of action and sent if off on the 9th of March. We received confirmation that a response had been received and then on the 13th of March form an Escalation Specialist in the Seller Performance department thanking us for the information and saying they were investigating further and would notify us of the outcome. However, it has been a month since then but there has been no contact.

At first we emailed them every four of five days (to confirm all points of the plan of action had been implemented and then to ask for an update). However, I read on another post that Amazon considered each email a new appeal and would move it to the bottom of the que so we stopped this. Our last email was in the last week of March. Can anyone let me know if going without contact for a month is standard in cases like this or offer my a way to find out where my appeal actually stands

Thanks in advance

I have been suspended many times and I can say that they always answered within 24 hours. After a month with no response, I would try e-mailing jeff@amazon.com .

It’s the Jeff Bezos’s official e-mail address. I had my account reinstated within a few hours after sending my appeal here.

However, make sure that your appeal is 100% perfect, because this is the highest department. They could reinstate your account immediately or decide that you may no longer sell on Amazon, and it would be the final response.

If you would like, you can post your appeal here to get some feedback from other sellers to see, if the appeal is good enough.

It’s a ridiculous delay.

Write a brief and clear email with dates and case references to managingdirector@amazon.co.uk. The Executive Seller Relations Team will read you email and might help expedite the issue (but they might not).

Thank you for both of your replies. We’ll give it a go and see what happens.
