Repricers Cause Nonsense Prices
If you are using a repricer, the worst tactic you can adopt is to make a rule that come in a penny lower than the competitors, it then forces their repricing tactic to match your price and ends up tanking the price al together.
A better tactic is to price sensibly and set your repricer to match the competitors price, this keeps prices sensible and the buyer then determines the market price, not the repricing tool.
If anyone else has any other sensible repricing rules or rules to recommend avoiding please feel free to post them here.

Don't use repricers or you leave the success of your business to others (including Amazon who can co*k it up big time).
(a little tongue in cheek as I understand that many product lines are very price sensitive).
