An Amazon solution to an Amazon Problem

I have a problem. Many sellers do.

Although I've done all I can, at my end, to resolve it, I'm still waiting for a resolution.

It seems to me that removing the easy and obvious access to the Sellers Forums is Amazon's way of dealing with the fact that they are very very bad at accepting they have issues and finding solutions. I wish it wasn't this bad.

It seems to me that dealing with problems and criticisms by making it harder to get the problem even acknowledeged in the first place is akin to the Royal Mail's handling of their particular scandal. Nobody dies in this one, but like the Royal Mail and the Hepatitis mess, it feels as if their primary effort is to now cover their [problem] by surpressing easy and simple access to complainants.

They are withholding my money and failing to fix a problem I don't have on my other selling platforms. The issue in this submission is not MY problem but Amazon's failure to provide adequate support to their sellers.

Please, if you agree, tick the Like button so they get the message. I wish to God such a request wasn't necessary at all.

I can’t help with your issue but just thought I’d point out that it’s The Post Office that is embroiled in the horizon scandal and not Royal Mail…they are two completely separate companies/organisations.

The reason they are bad is because seller support is only a sounding platform. Seller support cannot and will not perform any tasks on your account.

If you have issues with your account, quite often they can be fixed with settings, providing information etc and essentially it is a spreadsheet with tick boxes.

A good seller support staff will sometimes talk you through the fix of a problem or occassionally they can escalate it to someone with limited access to your account and perform these settings for you.

Sometimes, we get issues that do need Amazon interevention and this is where is gets messy.. They simply do not have enough resources to deal with issues that concern sellers. They are not bothered about coming to a solution especially if the result is Amazon actually losing out, ie giving you your rightful funds.

I've been trying to resolve overcharges on my account and raised a case before Christmas. I'm still no further on with it despite it being with the executive..

I see many sellers pointing out the post office scandal (assuming you mean post office as opposed to Royal Mail) but we must remember this is not the same thing although morally many of the problems experienced are similar in nature.

Amazon is not owned by the Givernment therefore they are not responsible to the public. There is also no real arbitration, they are judge, jury and executioner with no appeal.

It's not about us giving Amazon the message, it is about Amazon giving you the message.

The only way Amazon will eventually listen is if regualtions start looming around them.

Lastly you siad "Nobody dies in this one", the post office scandal brought so much stress that the person could no longer handle it. It was due to financial hardship, threat of action, feeling of failure, isloated and feeling alone in the sense it was thier problem and not the post office. Sounds familiar doesn't it?

If Amazon did possess any morality when dealing with issues, they should concern themselves and be aware that we sellers are humans with dreams of running our own business and driving our own destiny. It is time that Amazon should stop treating sellers with such disregard.

Sadly join the many annoyed people on here - Seller Support seem to be ran by either reta**s or just people who could not give a toss about sellers - they seem to hate us , my son has just died so i have other things on my mind but i would if i were you take this issue up on social media / dispatches / bbc rip off britain etc because Seller Support will never help you EVER - THEY ARE JUST NOT BOTHERED and until someone goes to social media nothing will get done.
