Amazon Partnered Carrier: RXO carrier guidelines for pallet deliveries, less than truckload delivery (LTL), full truckload (FTL)

Important carrier information

Here is the most important information that you must know to work with RXO (formerly UPS SCS):

  • Stores serviced by carrier: UK
  • Identification code in Seller Central: RXO (UPSUK )
  • Email address: upsamazon@ups.com
  • Carrier tracking: RXO LOTS portal on deprecation path, use new Qargo portal
  • Terms and conditions
  • RXO guidelines:
    • Have a 40 ft. (12.2 m) vehicle access (bridge heights, turning circles, no dead ends)
    • Have no restrictions on entry, such as proximity to schools
    • Have a dock or forklift
    • Be in a non-residential area
    • On pallets, use an RXO label, which can be printed from the LOTs/Qargo portal and AMZ pallet
    • During collection, the RXO driver will go to the RXO job reference number to identify your shipment. Ensure that your warehouse is aware of this reference number. The number can be found on the LOTs/Qargo portal, where you can also print the RXO labels.
Note: If it is unclear about when to contact the carrier versus when to contact Amazon via Seller Central, go to these sections below:
  • Carrier and seller interactions – Investigating a missed collection with the carrier.
  • Amazon and seller interactions – Investigate a shipment that has arrived at an Amazon fulfilment centre.

Finalising a shipment with carriers after completion in Seller Central

After finishing the shipment in Seller Central, follow these carrier-specific steps to ensure that the shipment is picked up:

  1. If you are shipping for the first time with RXO (UPS SCS) and PCP less than truckload delivery, then you will receive an onboarding email from RXO soon after completing your shipment in Seller Central. Follow the steps in the onboarding email to receive your RXO LOTS portal/Qargo portal sign-in information and to finalise your shipment.
  2. If you have shipped with RXO and PCP less than truckload delivery before, the carrier will contact you directly 24 hours before the collection of your shipment. Ensure that pallets and parcels are ready as per the Fulfilment by Amazon requirements before the carrier arrives. During collection, the RXO driver will either reference the Amazon reference number (ARN) or the RXO job reference number to identify your shipment. The ARN can be found in Seller Central in your shipment under the Track shipment tab. The RXO job reference number can be found in the RXO LOTS portal/Qargo portal
  3. You can track your shipment in Seller Central, go to Track shipment. To track your shipment with RXO, go to Track your shipment, log in to the portal and search for the ARN. Shipments usually take 12 to 48 hours after collection to be delivered.

How should I prepare my RXO pallet?

  1. Ensure that your parcels are packed in accordance with the Fulfilment by Amazon packaging requirements. Also, make sure that your pallets are packed in accordance with Fulfilment by Amazon pallet requirements.
  2. Ensure that both the Fulfilment by Amazon pallet label and ARN are clearly visible on the pallet. The ARN will have to be written by hand on the pallets.

Tracking with PCP less than truckload delivery carriers

To track your shipment with the carrier, you will have to search for it on the carrier-specific tracking portals. You will be able to receive tracking information regarding your pick-up until the goods have arrived at an Amazon fulfilment centre from the carrier portals:

RXO will share your sign-in details in an introduction email. To track your shipment, sign in to the RXO LOTS portal/Qargo portal page and enter your Amazon reference number (ARN). The ARN can be found on both the shipment page in Seller Central and on the confirmation email that we send on the day before the pick-up.

Carrier and seller interactions – Investigate a missed collection with the carrier

It is very important to note that all questions and issues will need to be handled directly with the carrier who is servicing your shipment until the goods have been shipped to an Amazon fulfilment centre. Queries that should be directly handled with the carrier are the following:

  • Pick-up appointment change (only if within two working days).
  • Finalisation of shipment details.
  • Missed pick-up/failed pick-up enquiries (unless you had not received any confirmation email, in which case, it may mean that the carrier is not yet ready to pick up from you).
  • Pick-up confirmation
  • Pick-up time
  • Shipment rejection reasons
  • Pick-up process clarifications
  • Cross-border enquiries
  • Shipping delays, that is, goods have been picked up at your warehouse, but still have not arrived at the Amazon fulfilment centre after 48 hours.
  • Issues with accessing the carrier portal.

To contact the PCP less than truckload delivery carriers, use the following contact details:

Editing a PCP less than truckload delivery

Currently, we cannot process shipment changes through Seller Central. If your pick-up is within two working days (such as when you are enquiring on a Monday and your pick-up is on Wednesday), directly contact your carrier to reschedule/amend the shipment:

  • RXO: Sign in to the RXO LOTS portal/Qargo portal and raise a ticket, using the login credentials provided by UPS in your onboarding email.

If your pick-up date is in more than two working days away, cancel your shipment in Seller Central and create a case with Selling Partner Support to request a full refund. Then, create a new shipment with the correct information.

Documentation requirements for PCP less than truckload delivery – Labels and bill of lading (BOL)

Each carrier requires different documentation for picking up pallets:

  • RXO: You are required to provide an RXO collection sheet at pick-up. This will be generated ahead of the shipment, within the RXO shipment creation portal. If you would like proof of pick-up, print the Amazon confirmation email and get it signed by the driver. Furthermore, you must attach the Fulfilment by Amazon label (available in Seller Central when you completed the shipment) and the RXO label (available in the RXO LOTS portal/Qargo portal after you’ve finalised the shipment there) on the pallets.

Furthermore, a bill of lading (BOL) will be required if two or more PCP less than truckload delivery are being picked up with the same truck. The BOL will be available in Seller Central on the day that your shipment is being picked up by the carrier. Print the BOL and ensure that the driver signs off the document when you hand over the shipment.

Receiving a delivery confirmation for PCP less than truckload delivery

For RXO shipments, request a proof of delivery directly from them via their LOTS portal/Qargo portal. PODs will be available for up to 10 days after the completion of your shipment.
