4 weeks waiting for a response

My account has been suspended for nearly 4 weeks by Germany and blocked all my European accounts and I haven’t received any update since. I can’t describe the financial damage that this deliberation is doing to our business, and it is for the same reason that many sellers are recently reporting, copyright infringement for products I wasn’t even selling.

Is it normal to take so long?

Could you please provide some additional details, such as the original suspension notice?

If you already appealed, at this point I would recommend you to wait for Amazon to get back to you instead of submitting any additional Plans of Action.

The response times can be anything from a few minutes to weeks. There is no way how to speed up the process and every submitted contact will be counted as a separate appeal and only decrease your chances of a successful reinstatement.

Hi Lula-Boutique,

How exactly did you appeal and through which marketplace? Did you appeal through your German account?

Do you know the email address you appealed to?

Feel free to share the last notification you received!

Hi Lula-Boutique,

In order to activate your other European accounts, you first need to activate your German account, as this is the account where you originally received the notification. As soon as your appeal will be accepted, all the unified accounts in Europe will be activated.

In the first post you are mentioning copyright infringement, but according to this shared notification, you need to verify the authenticity of certain items.

Have you receveid specific ASINs in a Performance Notification?

I would suggest you to review the notifications your German account and appeal the ASINs listed with a plan that explains:

  • The reason you are listing products that you are not approved to sell
  • Steps you have taken to resolve this issue
  • How you will prevent this issue in the future

Here are a few things to consider as you work on resolving this:

  • Is the product accurately described on Amazon? Have you ensured that there is no ambiguity and the customer is well informed?
  • Is the product in its original packaging as listed on Amazon?

With your plan of action you also need to send following docuements:

  • Copies of invoices, receipts, contracts, delivery orders, or authorization letters from your supplier issued in the last 365 days. The quantity of items shown should match your inventory.
  • If you are not the brand owner, provide an authorization letter and a complete set of documentation, including authorization letters, to prove a valid supply chain.
  • If you are the brand owner, provide a copy of the brand registration certificate, and business license or personal identity card.
  • Contact information for your supplier, including name, phone number, address, email, and website.

I suggest revising your entire plan and adding this information.
Once you have completed your review, please post your updates, questions, and newest submission in this topic so the forums community can continue to assist you with your goal of account reinstatement.

I hope this helps.

Thanks Victoria for your reply, this information is great.

You are correct, there are three ASINs that are in dispute at the moment, two of them we don’t even list anymore.

We are a dropshipping company, and therefore we don’t hold the inventory and hold invoices for products that we haven’t yet sold.
In the appeal, I have sent invoices for all purchases we have done so far with this specific wholesaler, which holds a long business track and worldwide reputation, so there shouldn’t be any copyright concerns. The problem we are having is that products that are legit to sell in the UK, other European countries seem to think we don’t have permission and request us to remove from our inventory. It is a copyright minefield to be honest, and I am not sure where this source of complaints come from, but we cannot keep appealing for each country.

Do you suggest I should contact my wholesaler and ask for their inventory invoices?

Thanks again

Jose Garcia
