I listed the above two products in good faith on my Amazon account. I did not ask the seller if they had a letter or authorization trademark for the product and never asked if the product was genuine and was not aware I could not list.
I received a notification from Amazon advising my account had been temporarily deactivated on requesting a valid plan of action to be submitted.
The actions that you have taken to resolve the issue.
Once this oversight was brought to my attention I can confirm I have stopped using the supplier and moved all products from this supplier, also would train my staff on policy to prevent them from violating any policies.
The steps that you have taken to prevent the issue going forward.
I have taken time to read all of your guidance in the email and I will only purchase from authorized dealers or manufacturers. Also I will ask for an authorization letter or a valid invoice and also ask if the product is genuine.
When listing any new products in the future I will ensure that I check Amazons Policies and where I am uncertain or unclear if any such product might be in violation again I will seek the help and guidance of the Amazon Seller Support Team directly as it was never my intention to breach any of Amazons policies.

To clarify, were the goods you bought actually branded as “Hair Burst”, or did you buy unbranded items that looked the same but might even have been from the same supplier?
The answer changes your appeal quite a lot.

Is this a genuine recognised wholesalers?
Seller_NoMNQDGnEW5Bx
You also want to link in the policies you’ve read.
Draft it again and post on here before you resubmit and I’m sure the experts will look at it for you

Just to add to the advice already provided above.
Take care with the presentation, perhaps use bullet points which will help to keep focus. It needs to be clear and concise, free from unnecessary ‘waffle’. You need to convince Amazon that you understand what has gone wrong and show them how you will not make the same mistakes again
Good luck Robert

Hello healthandbeautyprod1,
Intellectual property right is a policy violation where a mere listings of products that are recognized as right owner listings are not allowed to sell without proper authorization.
As you have received complaints from the right owner you are expected to make an appeal on the account with a plan of action if you agree with the complaint stating the cause of policy violation.
Root Cause:
- Why did you receive the infringement complaint? Give the details like you have mentioned in the post that you have mapped your products on some other listings?
- What led to the violation of intellectual property right policy? How did it happen?
- Have you checked all the other listings on offer to ensure there are no potential intellectual property rights complaint on the account?
Corrective Measure:
- What action have you taken after you received the complaints to resolve the issue?
- The changes you could make at that point.
Preventive Measure:
- How will you ensure that this is not a repeated issue on the selling account?
- How will you ensure Amazon that you are not infringing any other right owner?
- What is the proactive steps you have taken to ensure the account is in compliance with Amazon’s policies?
- How will you identify trusted suppliers?
Also it is advisable to submit invoices/supporting documents as well. Invoice requirements are:
- The sales volume must reflect and issued within the 365 days.
- You can make your response more relevant by circling or highlighting the area within your documents that is most important such as ASINs, Supplier details (for example, name and supplier website)
As guided kindly submit the plan of action in the given format as mentioned above and appeal it from account health dashboard.
Good Luck!!
Amar

I listed the above two products in good faith on my Amazon account. I did not ask the seller if they had a letter or authorization trademark for the product and never asked if the product was genuine and was not aware I could not list.
The two ASINS above were on the Amazon website with other sellers, so i assumed everything would be fine.
I have checked and mapped other products to make sure all is accurate.
I did not realize that i had breached a Amazon policy until i received a message, as soon as i did i immediately removed them from my inventory.
I did not check Amazon policy’s for rights owner infringements; i have now taken time to read policy’s and the gov.co.uk/trademark.

Action
As soon as i received a message saying i had infringed the rights owners property, i immediately removed the listing from my inventory, also i promptly checked all other products to make sure nothing like this could happen again.
I have stopped using the supplier, and make 100% sure i read Amazon policy’s before listing, and if I’m not 100% sure i will contact the Amazon support team, i have read Amazon policy’s to understand about trademark, brand and patent’s so i will not violate any policy’s.
I have contacted the rights owner to apologise for listing their products and to let them know i have read Amazon policy’s to make sure nothing like this ever happens again.
With me been a sole trader, i would be the sole person handling the account, so i will check all Amazon policy’s in the link attached.

I’m not planning to have any legal team to handle my account; also i will be keeping a daily check on my inventory and account health…
Prevent Measure
When purchasing products in the future to sell i will always ask the supplier/manufacturer for authorization letter and ask if the product is genuine, and always get invoices.
I will also ask the supplier if they have the rights for the product.
And i will make sure i check all Amazon policy’s and the gov.co.uk website for trademarks in the links attached.

Ive probably made about 3 business plans in my young 20’s, and 2 were at uni and one was for my business banking.
Thereafter I made 30 business plans for amazon.
Can you see where this is goin…
And zero for any other company I work with.
