Account not being approved

Hi,
I have been trying to get my issue resolved with amazon but now on my seller case log they say they have answered my messages when I don’t even get a response from amazon.

The issue is I signed up for an amazon account and realised I had entered the wrong LTD Company details, I emailed them to explain that the documents I was uploading wouldn’t match as I had made this mistake and you can’t actually change the company details I had entered by mistake. I was emailing for a good week with no joy so I thought I will just sign up for another account and enter the correct details.

The problem is I had a message saying the account couldn’t be approved as i was linked to another account, I have emailed, the verification & performance teams and wrote messages through my case log but I don’t actually get a response in what to do or if the issue will never be resolved.

Today I have asked amazon to close the original account as I thought this may help, and on the 2nd account they have took the £30 selling fees even though I have never been allowed to sell anything.

I also tried speaking to them on the phone to be told email the seller performance team🤬

I just want to know do I need to be patient or am I never going to get the account open and in that case I would like the £30 back

You need to close the second account.
You will also need to write an appeal in order to open your original account.
If you don’t do this, you won’t get anywhere.

You may not have got an answer from them quickly, but it can take several weeks (or more) for a new account to be opened fully.

Write your appeal and wait. That’s all you can do.
Also search the forums, there are multiple examples of this exact same issue. And how to about fixing it.

Hi,
I will wait a couple of days and see if I get any response on the 1st account i can’t change any details on there now and I have already requested to close it but I’m sure amazon won’t respond :scream: I know you said to do this to the 2nd account but I have already done this to the 1st so will wait a couple of days and see if I get any response

Thanks for the responses and I will take the advice but It doesn’t let you just close an account. That is why I was suggesting to wait for a response of the account I have already tried closing.

It will be a real shame to have to wait a few months but it just seems from a mere mistake to a big mess and no one I can just resolve the issues with.

Some great advice above. Looking ahead and that the account issues are resolved. You may want to consider the Amazon regulations in regard to the products you intend to sell.

Certain selling catagories require product authenticity, proof and distribution licenses.

I know about restrictions in certain areas I will just have to wait and see what happens with the seller account first.

I think because of this message from amazon I can’t see the account ever being verified.

Why is this happening?

Hi,

This is just an update I phoned amazon and they put me through to the department to close accounts, they closed the original account but said they couldn’t close the 2nd account until the deposit method was verified as they can’t refund to credit cards.

I think I have now managed to get the deposit method verified on the 2nd account as it’s showing verified.

I now don’t know whether to contact amazon to ask to appeal the 2nd account as now all documents have been verified and the account is still showing suspended.

Or should I get them to close the 2nd account as well and start again?

If I closed the 2nd account and started again could I use my name and LTD company details again or do you think that even though they close and delete an account it would pick it all up again?

Also do you think they pick information up from your IP address if using the same computer at the same address?

Ok i understand what your saying but when i was speaking to amazon on the phone last week they were saying to delete the two accounts and start again. They deleted the first one and said they couldn’t until the second had its deposit method approved which has now been done.

I tried contacting amazon earlier requesting an urgent call back by phone and now my phone won’t even ring but i think that maybe down to using an IP scrambler this afternoon as i just had this message from them which has no regards to what i messaged them.

I am reopening this again to see if anyone has any further ideas of what I can do.

Amazon have not responded to my appeals no response at all. If I send a message through seller support I get an immediate message back saying your account is deactivated follow the steps, which I have done and they won’t respond :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

I have even requested to close my account which they won’t do :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

I can’t even get amazon to speak to me on the phone to ask what to do or to delete my account like they done with other account and then maybe I could start all over again.

Does anyone have any suggestions of what to do or if there is anyway of speaking to amazon to sort this out :pray:
