Account on amazon.de deactivated due to false allegations

Hi!

Our account on amazon.de is deactivated. We received a number of counterfeit allegations and because these simply weren’t true (we buy from an official agent) we just sort of ignored these messages. Not the smartest move, I know (now).

We have been trying to work with seller support and provided them with invoices and explanations on all the involved ASIN’s. Most of them have been accepted and listings reinstated. Still working on the last 4. But I am beyond frustrated. In replies they keep asking for proof of authenticity (which we have supplied in form of official invoices numerous times) and our account is still deactivated.

Anyone any tips on how to handle this? Is there anything that I am not seeing clearly or not doing that I should be doing?

We’ve had the same issue on one listing regarding counterfeit/authenticity issues, and a similar issue on a 2nd listing. In both cases we had to provide invoices and supplier details.

We’ve had no luck getting either listing reinstated and it’s incredibly frustrating. It seems that no matter what we send, it isn’t good enough. But the way they word it is “we need more information”.

I am amazed that you got some of your listings restored. Did they get restored on the first appeal attempt, or did you have to send 2 or 3 more replies before it happened?

We had a similar issue when we first started.
We sold mobile phone cases with the word APPLE in the content.
It took around 2 weeks of trying to answer their very unclear emails but we eventually got reactivated.
We found response templates other people had used online.
I recall the they kept saying we are not taking responsibility.
There are also some online companies who charge around 350 quid to assist. We recruited one but just as we were about to use them our account got reactivated and the company kindly refunded us.
Hope that helps.

These are the guys that can assist with the appeal. They were on the ball with a good attitude toward this so would be my next port of call if all else fails…

Hi, how are you? Thank you for contacting Appeal Guru. We will be able to assist you further in getting your Account Reinstated. Please kindly email us the below information or call us for a free consultation.

  1. 1st suspension Email and any additional information you have related to the suspension
  2. Previous appeal made if any.

Once we have the information, we will be able to assist you further. If we decide to take over the case, we can complete the appeal in 24-72 hours for submission. All repeat appeals are free for the case until the account is reinstated, and we can help you escalate the issues if needed.

regards
