Adding Postage & Packaging

Hello, I can’t work out how to add postage & packaging to my product, in the Manage Inventory page. There are only [Price + Shipping] and [Business Price] but neither of these seem to work. The only way I’ve managed to do it is to artificially raise the price of the product (a book), which might be off-putting to customers as it should be £13.99 but is now showing as £17.29. Help! Thank you.

You don’t add it in the Manage Inventory page.
If you pay the £30 a month Pro.Plan fee then you need to assign shipping templates to your items, where you can offer free shipping or set your own charge.
If you are on the individual plan, where you pay an additional 90p per sale, then you cannot adjust the P&P - you have to go with Amazon’s default shipping charge for the particular category.
