Amazon Italy payments bouncing

Hi

I’ve noticed the last few payments from Amazon Italy have ‘bounced’ and come back into my account?

Anyone else experiencing this?

yes happened to me everyday since last week. CS are useless they keep telling me to update payment details but it keeps coming back as details cant be verified. I am unable to add a new bank account either as when i do that it says the same thing. CS keep sending me cookie cutter reply to update bank account details but wont tell me what the issue id or what part of my bank details are mismatched or wrong etc.

it is also happening to me on spain. I havent changed any of my details either and been working just fine last few years. so hoping its a glitch on their end which means it will be sorted in 6 months

me too i even started from scratch and re-entered my bank details! waited three days and again bounced. cs keep sending me the same message on how to change my account details. everything matches exactly i just dont understand. it is happening with my spanish payments too

Thanks for your posts.

For security reasons we can only see the last 4 digits of the information in seller central and if a payment fails we are provided with limited information.

@rijasom from what you have said

It seems that the bank account information entered into our system is incorrect. There is a new feature for bank accounts where by it is necessary for you to verify the old/existing banking details before new details can be added. If the system is rejecting the details you are entering then the information does not match. It will be necessary for you to contact seller support and advise them that you cannot amend the banking details. Please provide them with a screenshot of the error you receive as they will need to contact the technical team to help resolve the issue.

@Coxy1970 if you have updated your banking details and the payments are not reaching your bank I would recommend that you create a case with seller support. If the payments are being returned to your seller account it would appear that your bank account is either not accepting the payments or the bank account information in our system is incorrect.

I’ve swapped it to another bank account my company owns and i’m waiting the 3 days before I can disburse… its barclays so i’m thinking i’ll have the same problem. Support keep telling me to change the IBAN … but there is no where to put this.

hi it is STILL happening - yes i am with barclays. i changed the details again and still the same thing. when i enter the NEW one it says unable to verify when i enter old iban it accepts it but it bounces back - i am NOT impressed

so it actually in your bank account? a lot of times the transfers look they have gone then come back next day

This issue has landed with us this week, I hadn’t checked the forum before. Been given the run around for a week now by seller support who seem unable to help. I have been disbursing to Barclays for years.

So you have to provide a completely different Barclays account? I just updated my existing details and waited 3 days, but its failed again today.
