Any way to get re-activated?
My account got deactivated because I didn’t provide a document for a utility bill. I’m unable to do this because I live with my mum and she pays for all the utility bills. Is there any way around this to activate my account?

Hello @gracesellsthings,
Thank you for reaching out to the seller forums community. This is Abella from Amazon to help you with your concerns.
There are certain policies that Amazon expects its sellers to follow while operating the platform, and Amazon Services Europe Business Solutions Agreement is one among them.
@The_Little_Shop @JillyB1 @PeterB thank you for the inputs.
As correctly mentioned by @The_Little_Shop you need to submit utility bill for the verification process.
Kindly note the documents requested by the performance team are in compliance with the requirements mentioned below:
• Please confirm you have a valid credit card.
• A business license if applicable
• A utility bill dated within the last 90 days for piped gas, natural gas, electricity, piped water, mobile phone, fixed-line phone, or internet service.
These documents must be authentic and unaltered, and the name and address on the document must match the name and address you provided during registration.
However for better understanding of the issue, I would request you to share the last performance notification that you received from the team so that we can go through it and provide more insights on the same.
If you need any further assistance, you can post here so that we or any of the sellers on forum can help you.
Regards,
Abella.

Good luck trying to sell DVDs on amazon - I have a registered wholesaler who I have used in the past and still have an active account with. I made an order of several DVDs/Blurays to comply with amazon’s request for an invoice from a wholesaler/supplier - This was turned down by bots at amazon and the SS is as much use as a chocolate fire guard, I do try to challenge amazon’s decision. But have reluctantly decided to cut my loses with the DVDs as there was only 50 of them and put them all on ebay as a joblot.
Back in 2013 when I first started, amazon was a fun place to earn a few bob on, since my return this year its completely different. I had a great 5 days of sales this week, even with tracking numbers and successful postage amazon want to hold my money for another month. Selling £1400 of items and only getting £12, then another £56 next week is a drain on my resources.
As others have said, maybe start selling through facebay, ebay and other low fee selling sources.

Please can you confirm, or otherwise, if someone does not have any bills in their own name - as is quite often the case with students living at home etc. - that they will never be able to be verified, as @The_Little_Shop mentioned, another mod had said previously that they COULD use a parent’s bill as long as accompanied by proof that they also lived at that address, however, your reply seems to indicate that is not possible ?

In case, if the utility bill is not under your name, you can provide a utility bill associated to the address used to register, and any other supporting documents that prove that you are operating from that address, even if the bill is not under your name.
Appreciate the inputs provided by fellow sellers @JillyB1, @The_Little_Shop,@PeterB, @Kitty, @Stes_Retro, @Ninja_o_Clan_Ginger, @Game_and_Toy
You can additionally attach an explanation why the utility bill is not under your name and a proof of what relationship you have with the individual whose documents you are providing.
Also, ensure that it must be issued within the last 90 days.
You can go through this help page to know more about the Amazon Business Solution Agreement.
