Buy Shipping - Royal Mail
Hi all,
Late last night it seems Royal Mail shipping has disapeared from the Amazon buy shipping. Replaced with Evri.
Even though we don’t use Evri and do not have them setup on our account and would not use them.
Has this happened to anyone else? We are still shipping everything with Royal Mail ourselves and upgrading it all to Tracked 24.
Not sure if a bug or related to the strikes/backlog. But seems a little late for them to suddenly do that now.

We are also having this issue…
I’m waiting for a response from Amazon about it…

You don’t have to set up an account to use Evri.
I am showing options for Royal Mail.

Do you have Shipping Automation on? How many days handling time in your shipping settings?

As half full says, if you have SSA on its likely amazon don’t deem RM to get the goods there on time due to the strikes tomorrow and Thursday

It is for SFP orders.
When viewing the buy shipping it looks like they class Tracked 24 as a longer delivery and would not arrive in time. (Yes aware of the strikes).
So it seems they have made the decision Tracked 24 is not a premium option now. Maybe a little too late to the party with that.
Has been fine and active for all previous strikes and peak season.

I am still given the option to purchase Royal Mail via Amazon Shipping

But strangely they have allowed buy shipping with Tracked 24 for one day delivery. But not the second day ones.
Again I am aware of the risks. But Amazon themselves have said delivery times will be extended for SFP and our account health protected. (I know this may not be easy to actually get - but has been fine so far through all strikes and peak).
So I would imagine something is being played around with to remove Royal Mail as an option or they are testing settings in the background.

Getting nowhere with support as would expect.

Any updates. We don’t have HErmes account and don’t have option for RM 24

Yesterday Amazon was suggesting that I use Royal Mail 48 (CRL) for second day orders, which are due to arrive tomorrow when Royal Mail are on strike.
Strangely they didn’t give Tracked 48 as on option.
I think Amazon are the only people in the country who belive that an RM48 CRL delivery will arrive in two days at the moment, but if I use Buy Shipping then I guess I am covered when they don’t arrive in two days
