Buying Postage from Amazon another punch in the nose for sellers
Amazon say buying postage from Amazon will not cost you more!
There are lots of additional costs for amazon sellers involved in this change.
1/If you use a franking machine on a long contract the franking machine costs go on. Are amazon going to reimburse you?
2/Your discounts from Royal Mail are adversely affected.
3/Your contract for collection by royal mail is adversely affected.
4/Precious Amazon seller time is wasted using amazons clunking system compared with the super fast current system.
5/ Sellers who use 2 year old 1st and 2nd class stamps will see a huge rise in their postal costs.
Who says this change will not cost the seller more .
If they want us to use Amazon to buy postage then give us a DISCOUNT!

I can’t use “Buy Shipping” on the Isle of Man. Amazon says I can, Isle of Man Post says I can’t. I have about £3,400 of IOM Postage stamps to use up ! The only other option here is Evri !

I use a Franking Machine for my Postage… large letter costs currently £1.22 this is going to rise by 23p per large letter alone with Amazon buy shipping at £1.45.
It’s unfair that Amazon are not considering Franking Machine users…third party sellers… We could provide our Franking Licence numbers to continually use a Franked Service drop down which would ensure that that option is not misused hopefully options will be considered.

I usually send free postage, but will have to put my postage rate up to cover for the tracking cost, which will mean fewer orders for myself and less money for Amazon.

I sell mostly books. I make very little from it. If Amazon now want me to buy postage from them. Is it time to just withdraw my books from their site?

I think Amazon buy shipping is dear than Royal Mail. I guess I have to put up the price to cover it.
Please can someone tell me how to post Amazon buy shipping 1st and 2nd class post, how do I send it? Do I take them to the post office as other people send a post but not in the grey beg? That means has to queue up. Do I put them in the Royal Mail post box on the street? What about the untracked large letter, can we send it by Royal Mail not Amazon buy shipping?

I’ve got better things to do than this nonsense. If my VTR starts to tumble, I’ll pack up my tent and leave. Luckily for me Amazon are only add-on sales to my bricks and mortar business, I truly pity those left dancing through increasingly smaller hoops for Amazon’s pleasure.

I buy Shipping through Amazon but pay for it at my RM Online Business Account. Buy Amazon Shipping means high VTR (almost 100%), using OBA means I get RM discounted prices. I think anyone can open an OBA. Labels provided through Click and Drop and are supplied free by RM. Can’t you work this way? Never use stamps so can’t say anything about that.

Don’t forget the cost of the labels and a new printer if you don’t already use amazon postage.
