Can any Individual sellers confirm if they can still sell items in European countries?
Hello,
I am an individual seller and opened a case asking seller support why the new ‘add a product’ page does not give me the option to offer items for sale to Europe (EU), the reply said Amazon policy only lets professional sellers to sell items to Europe, prior to yesterday (1st Aug 2019) I had no problem doing this on the old ‘add a product’ page. I just wanted to ask any fellow individual sellers (if there are any left!) if they can still sell items to European countries. Thanks

There are reports from other sellers having issues:
I am a Professional Seller and don’t have any problems.

The OP who opened the thread you quoted is the same seller who opened this thread…
Hi thegamingworld,
Seller Support’s reply is absolutely untrue and I can confirm it as an (EU) Individual Seller: whenever I want to share my listings all I have to do is to simply type the selling prices I wish to charge for the other marketplaces (here is a screenshot which shows the “Manage Offers in other Marketplaces” interface from the UK marketplace):
I remember trying the new interface you’re mentioning (which was a “beta” at the time) last year: it was basically worse as it lacked the “Delivery Speeds” (i.e. this marketplace’s automatised selling fee system: I want to know how much AMZ charges me when I insert the selling price!). As soon as I realized how this new “selling experience” was going, I reverted to the old interface without any regret.
I hope for you that you have the chance to revert to the old “Add a new product” page.
There are. However there might be very few of us in the Seller Forums. Apart from me, there are (if I remember correctly) two Individual sellers who follow the UK Seller Forum: @Adrian and @Shrewsbury_Marine_S1

Hello A.M.S.P
Thanks a lot for your reply. I have never seen the page that your screenshot shows and cannot find it anywhere on my seller central page. Basically with the old ‘Add a Product’ page there was a tick box you could tick to offer the item to European countries (not just the countries with a marketplace such as Germany, France but all Europe such as Slovenia, Hungary Portugal etc). The new Add a Product page has removed this option and I’ve checked all the different tabs but its nowhere to be found sadly.
You are right, the new Add a Product page has also removed the information showing ‘Amazon Fees’ and ‘VAT on Amazon Fees’ , showing how much I would earn after deductions based on my chosen price. I will now have to choose a price based on memory of how much I earned after all fees from previous experience.
Sadly I have no option to revert back to the old interface, I would love to! In 7 1/2 years selling on Amazon I have never experienced any changes they make to the selling experience that was better than the old version, not even once!

Hi Shrewsbury_Marine_S1
Thanks for your reply. I’ve never seen the International Shipping box you refer to, I have always had to choose whether to ship an item to Europe on an individual basis, either when creating the item listing or via the edit button on each item in my inventory. I do not know anything of shipping templates, the only shipping settings I can change is whether to offer express delivery in the UK or not and under ‘International’ I have chosen Domestic and within the European Union (EU).

Hi Bairstows
Thats it! thats what I’m referring to!
Since yesterday I do not see this on ‘addd/edit product’ pages anymore, I tried looking at each tab to see if they moved it but its nowhere to be found. Is there a way I can revert back to the old interface as per your screenshot?

Hi Bairstows,
Yes until yesterday I also had these options in all my inventory items. The ‘Offer’ tab on the new add product page just ends with a field named ‘Product Tax Code’ which is completely useless. I never tried it in its ‘beta’ phase but I can see no revert back option so must assume I’m stuck with it, they may be moving sellers across to it gradually as they usually do with new systems such as the awful messaging system. Anyway thanks again for the screenshot, I was starting to get paranoid that people were thinking that I made it up!

Hello A.M.S.P
Yes its the delivery templates in the ‘Offer’ tab, that your screenshot shows, I’ve been referring to. The new add product page does not have those options anymore sadly. As topratedsellr’s post above suggests, they are gradually moving sellers to the new style page with no option to revert to the old style, which means there is no new way to offer shipping to Europe or beyond!

Unlike the more curious among my fellow sellers, I never tried it while it was in beta, hence the utter shock when I saw it for the first time yesterday! I must say it is complete and utter PANTS!!!

I’m an individual seller. In fact, most of my sales come from Europe (mainly France / Spain / Finland). I’ve never had a problem listing - just tick the box next to Europe under shipping.

Hi. I’m an individual seller too. Whether or not to sell in Europe or elsewhere is something I decide on an item-by-item basis, generally depending on price and size.
Listing an item is a two-stage process. Stage 1: Add a product: Price, quantity and condition of item. Stage 2: Once the item appears in your inventory, press Edit and add an image and condition notes (for used items) and tick which areas you are offering the item for sale. Are you saying this has changed in the last day or two?
That said, I get very few sales from Europe. In fact I get very few sales at all these days!
