Cant Edit my listing as ASIN registered to another brand!
Hi!
Very frustrating issue that despite being my brands owner, for some reason my only one ASIN is registered to another brand that I have never heard of before and nothing to do with my business. Seems to have come about after I registered with brand registry. I now cant edit my listing or have access to A+ Content.
I get error code 5461 when trying to edit. Amazon seller support has not been helpful.
If anyone has got any ideas that would be really helpful as struggling with this now.
Thanks

Why the EAN-13 used to list the item does not match the EAN-13 on the can?

Hi @Immune_Pure_Power1 this happened to me a while back, have a look at this: https://sellercentral.amazon.co.uk/forums/t/listing-has-been-hijacked-amazon-refusing-to-help/490807
Are you in brand registry? If so I think I can give you a hand with a more unconventional method than what I explained in the thread. (Both worked, it just wasn’t feasible contacting SS 10 times each for 5+ ASINS).
Try that or send me a PM, happy to help however I can.

I had a similar issue with my brand registered asin. Eventually the brand registry team sorted it but it was a nightmare. I’d go through brand registry rather than seller support if you can.

Just as an idea - not sure if this would work
As you own the GTIN/EAN and can prove that - I just wandered how Amazon would react if you told them you do not authorise their site to sell this product and want the listing deleted unless they change the details to your required preference. If they persist on selling the item you will take legal action.
A bit controversial and certainly bullish - but sometimes you do have to make a stand.

is this Michael or Thomas…dude, don’t give out your ASIN on here, too many people will be looking for product ideas to steal.
Also I managed to quickly and easily look up your entire company based on the asin (WA8 0NQ), and also "C***GED DRINKS " try and stay anonymous when posting on here, for example my display name is different to my seller name.
Unfortunately it looks like your listing has been hijacked, this happened to me but it was a Chinese seller, operating on the Japanese market. it took 6 months to resolve and the way I did it was to report the listing on the main selling page, simply click the report button and state the brand is incorrect, you are the brand owner and you’ve not given permission for the other brand to operate on your listing.
Hope this helps.
