Cant use upc barcode for catergory

cant use my upc barcode as it comes up with a message saying You are using UPCs, EANs, ISBNs, ASINs, or JAN codes that do not match the products you are trying to list. If you believe you have reached this message in error, please contact Seller Support.
Even though they are my own unique barcodes

According to Amazon your UPCs are assigned to products in their catalogue already. Try Catalogue-Add Products-type in actual UPC code if something comes up. Where did you get UPCs from?

havent had the barcodes downloaded or printed yet could that be the issue?

Also get brand registered, ASIN hijacking is very common here.Good luck!
