Charged for subscription i was unbeknownst to
hiya, i started my account around last year november time and even though i selected the individual account option i have still been charged not once but twice for service i was not informed about being apart of. have been looking forward to working with amazon for a while now however so far its been bleeding my account sadly, i have faith that you guys are able to resolve this issue though as the forums say it is common. thank you

You may have signed up for the Individual Account, but you obviously signed up for the Professional Selling Plan - which are two totally different things.
There are two types of account to choose from:
Individual - where you are simply selling of your own personal second-hand items, and cannot sell multiples of new items as Amazon will pick up that you are actually trading so are a business.
Business - where you are purchasing stock to sell on for profit, and need to be registered with HMRC as sole-trader or limited company.
There are two selling plans:
Professional - where you pay £30.00 a month
Individual (Basic) where you pay an additional fee (90p) per item sold.
You can change between the 2 selling plans as and when you want/need to - it is usually only an advantage to be on the Pro plan when you sell a minimum of 34 items a mont, unless you want to set your own shipping charge.
Please note: the Professional Selling Plan is NOT the same as the Business Account.- a business can use either selling plan.
