Created and closed Account within 20 mins, REFUND HELP!

PLEASE HELP ME!!! IT’S BEEN 48 DAYS AND I HAVE NOT BEEN REFUNED YET! So I created a selling account on 8th November, however it wouldn’t let me open an individual account. I read on forums you can create a business account and then downgrade to a normal account. So I went ahead and did that. After a stressful 20mins of being unable to downgrade the account I closed the account. I spoke to an advisor on live chat who confirmed my account was closed as well as receiving confirmation emails from Amazon. 2 days later the £30 subscription fee left my bank account. Since 10th of November I have been back and forth with multiple advisors. At first I was told the money will go straight back into my account after 10 working days. I Waited and was not refunded. Then I was told according to their T&C’s I have to wait 60 days for a refund . So I hit her with the facts and said thats untrue as I have not listed nor sold anything. Then I was toldd I will receive a cheque in the post. Then I was told the money is on my Amazon account however as I closed the account I am unable to access it and would need to reopen the account to retrieve the money. I was then told I will receive my refund on the following transfer dates: 22nd Nov, 29th Nov, 6th Dec, 13th Dec, 20th Dec, 27th Dec. I have made over 35 phone calls, 3 emails to the verification team as apparently the documents I uploaded for verification failed. For the past 3 weeks every time I have called I have been told I will receive an update and someone will get back to me in 48 hours. Instead I keep receiving the same generic, ‘Thank you for your continued patience. At this time I am working with our internal team to reach a resolution on your case. While I don’t currently have an update, I will follow up with you as soon as additional information is available’ email. I HAVE STILL NOT BEEN REFUNDED NOR HAS ANYONE REPLIED BACK! At this point I am extremely fed up and frustrated with Amazon and their ridiculous and useless Customer Service Team!! CAN SOMEONE PLEASE, PLEASE HELP ME GET MY MONEY BACK!

Your account is obviously not closed or you could not post here, so can you go to seller central/settings/account info, then scroll down the left to
“Your services/Manage” and downgrade from the Pro account to the Individual one.
If you don’t do this then one thing will happen,
you will be charged the next months fee,
and one thing will not happen, you won’t get a refund of the monthly fee [until you downgrade!]

Well 2 points:

  1. Amazon will never send you a cheque.

  2. The account needs to be open and pass verification in order for a refund to be applied to your bank account

Your account is obviously not closed or you could not post here, so can you go to seller central/settings/account info, then scroll down the left to
“Your services/Manage” and downgrade from the Pro account to the Individual one.
If you don’t do this then one thing will happen,
you will be charged the next months fee,
and one thing will not happen, you won’t get a refund of the monthly fee [until you downgrade!]
