Customer states item delivered, but wrong house then demands a resend
a customer states item delivered, but wrong house then demands a resend.
the RM48 SCAN shows a date and time of delivery.
then they demands a resend the of order. however they have not presently told me how exactly they know the item gone to the wrong house. as they have the same RM information as i do.
how would they know?
so unless they sat in their front window and watched the postman with a spy glass; or he/she told them he/she had miss delivered (and then scanned).
a scanned item is exact to about 3 feet in other words the order could be next door.
Royal Mail states 100% delivered and a time plus date.
plus they state they cannot retrieve the item, even though they appear to know the person who has their order. possibly they the “other” house is refusing to give back the item.
they may have given out an incorrect address, they have not said. i just concerned they might do this time and time again, or it is just a simple error on the part of the postman (therefore RM`s fault).
thus, from my point of view ROYAL MAIL states delivered, so what am i supposed to do? in effect.

The only time I have had this is if RM put a card through door and put with no.* I have had this at home but we all get on with neighbours so it’s accepted.
However as a seller we have had many notes saying DONT leave with neighbour/s
But I would deffinatly try to contact RM depot for clarity. Also I would ask the buyer which address it’s been “deliverd” to and maybe send a snail Mail to that address.

I would deffinatly ask a. How he knows. And b if it is a red card from RM. Maybe ask for a phot of it and why he cannot collect from the house unless it’s miles away!
It would call out anything genuine / not genuine about it.
