Deactivated account
Hello, I was wondering if anyone can help me. I am new to amazon seller central and I am currently waiting on my first shipment to arrive so I have everything set up and approved.
I have had my account for around 8 months with no issues then suddenly a few days ago my account got deactivated.
I went through the process of getting it reactivated but amazon say I have been found to be related to an account beginning with Master-shop.
I have no idea who this is, so if anyone can help that would be greatly appreciated

Do you have any other addresses than yours on your account? Do you use a prep centre or shared address?

The linked account from what Amazon told me was called master-shop and they gave me the name Muhammad Akram. I’ve tried to find them but have been unsuccessful so I have no way of contacting this account to try and get deactivated.
My account was in good health and active when I ordered my stock. I have checked with my supplier and they have never heard of this other account when they’ve checked.
I have 2 potential reasons I believe I could be linked-accidentally using public Wi-Fi and being linked that way and also the day before I got deactivated I linked my seller central to helium 10 (which is a different email address)-I have contacted them but due to their confidentiality they can’t disclose any information but they have said that they have very strong policies on public information so me being linked to another account shouldn’t be because of them.

It was a member of seller support when they replied back via an email a couple of months ago. I have been unable to get anymore info though to help me specifically find out how I’ve been linked so I can actually make a valid appeal case. As I’m only assuming it was caused by being on the same public Wi-Fi but cannot be certain.

I’m not sure if it was coincidence or this was the cause of my account being linked or deactivated but I signed up to helium 10 using one of my other email address (which wasn’t my business one) as they had an 80% off promotion if you signed up and linked your new account with your seller central account. I did that on 28/07/22 then 2 days later got an email from seller central saying my account was found to be linked to this master-shop/Muhammad Akram.
Now I don’t know if that’s coincidence but it seems strange to me. I have contacted helium 10 but due to data protection they can’t tell me if they’ve heard of this Amazon business or persons name.

Try mediation (search help for it). It will say you will have to pay but chances are that if you are correct and you have been deactivated wrongly, the process will stop before it gets to the stage of having to pay and your account will be reactivated.
