Experiences of Seller Fulfilled Prime?

Thinking of dipping the toe in the water.

Is it easy to setup and deal with couriers? We would probably need to use DPD. Items weigh up to 24kg although most are 6kg. They are liquids and we use Parcel Force at present.
Our current VTR is 100% and on time delivery is 100% all other metrics are good.

We use premium shipping times of second day timeframe - gives a little bit of give as we actually send on next basis - if its one day late we are still within the on time delivery timescale. Obviously if we ship via DPD from ‘buy shipping’ option this is now Amazons own shipper or do we get chucked off if DPD are late? Its the next day thing which can be patchy as the courier networks are stretched at present.

The thing is we would prefer an am pickup for prime via DPD.
We were planning on testing slow moving items and new items with no reviews at first.

Are you also able to ship orders and arrange DPD to collect on Saturdays or Sundays?

You’d also need a collection after the cut off which has also been extended to late afternoon

Thanks all again - we do have some products which maybe classified as HAZMAT and move ok but would move much better on prime. Been selling since 2017 at present sell around 3500 units a year on Amazon. Will look enrolling something and see what happens.

Further question - we have contacted SS they have said Amazon FBA does not ‘do’ any liquid above 1 litre :frowning:

Our most poular sizes are 5 litre although we do sell some 1 litres - no doubt the sales would go up but we would still be selling the 5s shipped by us - not ideal!

Is this spurious information or fact? - these would be non HAZMAT products.

If there is a limit on liquids to 1 litre this is a blow!

Well one round it is to sell in multiples of 1 litre on different SKUs. In other words a 5 litre deal is x5 1 litres etc. Could make packing and picking a mare

Thanks - looks like I am snookered. It’s the 5s that sell. I would have a strange situation where the 1s are FBA the other sizes would be premium shipping so non prime.
