Help - sending first LTL shipment

Hi,

i have done small parcel delivery a few times and familiar with it, but this is my first time arranging a pallet delivery into FBA. i know what a FNSKU label and a “FBA shipment” label looks like.

these are my sizes of the products:

Flat Bed L x W x H

Medium 33 x 22 x 18 cm 1.5kg

Large 43 x 24 x 18 cm 2kg

Extra Large 44 x 27 x 20 cm 2.75kg

The beds are in their own box sealed so the FNSKU would be applied to the boxes but when im trying to follow the steps when setting up the shipment its going to ask me to apply the “FBA shipment” label to each box (the one that shows where its coming from and to which FC and quantity, the quantity is 1 - 1 unit in its own box). The pallet then will have its own pallet labels

i dont have a problem with applying FNSKU and Shipment labels to each box but my understanding was when Amazon sees the Shipment label they will open the box to then find the unit(s) and FNSKU inside for scanning.

to simply put what im trying to achieve is i want to tell amazon that a box is the unit itself not boxes of units. i had to create a New Packing Template just to trigger a LTL shipment by entering the box dimension and advising 1 unit per box. it just threw me off during my test run that the pallet is heading to a FC but on each box im going to have FNSKU and FBA shipment labels showing the FC address and when the item sells another customer delivery label will be applied to the same box.

the pallet is filled with the units ready to ship as they are, not a pallet of boxes of units.

Hey @YourFurBaby,

It appears that your post was cut off at the end, was there anything you wanted to add?

Basically, a pallet shipment is exactly the same as a box shipment.
The only real difference, is that if a single item, is in a single box then these do not require a box label.
But do require an FNSKU label, unless commingled inventory, then there must be a barcode.

It will try to print them when you create the shipment, but there is no need to in the above scenario.

Though I have noticed, that there is now a new option when creating a case template, that is for a single item pallet. You may find it slightly different if you use that, as I’ve yet to use it.
