IOSS - RM Click & Drop

Here’s my current understanding based on speaking with RM etc:

Not all RM codes qualify to use the IOSS, for example IG1 isn’t. Contact RM for a full list. If you try to ship using IG1 (for example) the IOSS logo will not show on your label etc. I have tested this today and it’s true. We now ship all LL/Parcels (EU) via code DW1. If you don’t have that code, ask C&D to add it.

RM have said the IOSS will not appear on teh CN22 but I don’t think they are correct here. Whilst the number isn’t showing on the CN22 for us, I believe that may be due to the way you have your C&D integrated with Amazon, as Amazon may not be (yet) passing all info over to C&D.

The IOSS logo that appears on your shipping label, is a black circle with teh letters IOSS in it. It appears in the empty box directly below the address on the label.

For me, the main thing to check is what code you are using to ship your items, as above not all codes will work with the IOSS system.

Here is a link to all the Click & Drop help videos.

Thanks. Does anybody have any idea what to do if you are entering orders manually? Ie the Amazon account is not integrated on C&D? X

How is everyone getting on - it seems to be working ok for me ( using DG4 and DE4 codes )

You know if it has works as the label has a little IOSS logo under the address

Interestingly my ebay orders has the IOSS code in the address but amazon does not

How do I add my IOSS number with Click & Drop?

In Click & Drop IOSS numbers can be added to your masterdata in the pre-registration scheme number field in trading names. This applies whether you’re selling through your own website, using your own IOSS number or are using Taxamo Assure IOSS number in that field. You can then select from the IOSS enabled core product codes (non-personal correspondence) and process orders as usual.
Customer Scenarios:

  • If you only sell through one marketplace then you can add the marketplace’s IOSS number to the pre-registration scheme number field.
  • If your marketplace is integrated with Click & Drop (Amazon, eBay, ETSY, NOTHS), you don’t need to do anything as the IOSS number will be automatically populated.

Do you upload a file into click and drop also?

If so - which fields are essential to getting the IOSS logo working?

We use DE4 and Ive added the amazon order number to the label. We supply the vat exclusive amount in the total amount field and also supply the HS code, etc. Ive also created a trading name profile of Amazon. I note that we dont know Amazon’s VAT number or EORI - unless you know it?

Isn’t DE4 a country sort code, It’s for bulk users and requires post be bagged by country?

Please where do you find the IOSS number on Amazon when using DPD or Hermes. Thanks

We have learnt the hard way with new roll outs and Amazon. We have switched off our EU sales until we are confident its running smooth. Worth waiting a few weeks rather than experience any potential hassle.
