Item not received

Hope Kika is about
I have an a-z claim from a customer saying not received, they bought 2 items 2 order numbers one prime one not prime, as the delivery time frame was a lot quicker on the prime item, i put both items together and increased the weight and postage price on the prime item so he would get both item together. he is now saying he only received one item

I answered the a-z giving the tracking number which was an amazon tracking number, because it was the same tracking number for both items, but there is only one proof of delivery as both items were put together.

amazon now want me to:-

Hello,

To be satisfied that delivery was made to the buyer’s address, we need to see that someone signed for order …

Within 3 calendar days, please reply to this email with the following information:

– Proof of delivery document showing the recipient’s signature (such as a copy of a signature confirmation or return receipt from the courier)
– The courier’s name
– Tracking number
– Delivery address
– Delivery date.

any suggestions how i answer this??

Which item is he claiming not to have recieved? The Prime item or the other one?

Can you provide the info they are asking for?
Courier name: You should be able to
Tracking number: Obviously you have this
Delivery address: Obviously you have that
Delivery date: Do you have this showing?
And most importantly
Signature: Do you have a signature for the delivery?

If so then simply reply to Amazon with all the info they ask for and request that, as the goods were delivered as per the tracking info provided , the A-Z claim be denied.
Include a link to the tracking and a screenshot /pdf of the signature if you have it.

First, have you tried contacting the buyer to mention both items were packed together therefore if one received, both arrived. There are many buyers who are easily confused and forgetful, almost as many as there are sellers !

Second, just provide what Amazon asked for, regardless of which is supposed to be missing. Best not to go looking for issues which may not materialise.

Call me a cynic, but I think that is where the problem lies.
My gut-feeling tells me that they had planned all along to claim INR for one of the items - why would they order separately and with different delivery methods ?

They didn’t bargain for you sending both together !, and so they have been found out .
Of course, I may be totally wrong and it could all be above board.

Don’t worry. Amazon will not accept your argument. We sent three items separately. Buyer first said he hadn’t received two. We have signed document from courier that he has. When we said we’ll call the police they suddenly appeared in a shed. He emailed us saying so using amazon email. He then opened a a-z claim and even after providing proof and screenshots of email amazon stills refunded customer and refused to pay. We have now complained to FCA and will also take the matter to claims court. That’s the only way to deal with this. Call the police and tell them what happened. We have a case raised with the cyber crime unit as well.

Regardless of the huge mistake which you made by shipping 2 separate orders together, there is no way you will be able to have this claim denied without having the signature proof of delivery.

Amazon may fund it with just tracking, though.
