Listing removed

Hi

I have had a listing removed because it contains an excessive amount of a certain ingredient.

However there’s are 10s of other sellers who are using the same concentration, including Amazons Choice and all sponsored ads.

Luckily I hadn’t actually sent the product to the fulfilment centre, else I would have had to create a removal order. Should I create listing again?

Not every listing on Amazon is fully compliant with Amazon’s policies. Amazon is also largely bot driven and do sometimes remove listings in error.

Yes, could have been an expensive thing having to pay for the return of each item.

Given the above, how lucky do you feel?

I wouldn’t create the listing again as you may find yourself with another listing removal and you may find yourself with stranded product.

The other sellers may get their products removed in the future if Amazon think a particular ingredient is excessive.

Do you have the option to appeal the listing removal as Amazon may have made a mistake. Is the ingredient harmful if taken in excessive quantities?
