Mysterious new brand name has appeared on my product!

Hi there

I recently noticed on one of my products that the brand name displaying on the catalogue page has changed from ‘Tinyhouse’ ( My brand ) to ‘Batemen W’. I have no idea what this brand is, I have searched through Amazon for it and can’t seem to find any brand named ‘Batemen W’. Does anyone know of a way I can get this changed back to ‘Tinyhouse’. If I try to edit it myself I am shown this message:

‘The value ‘Tinyhouse’ specified cannot be used as it conflicts with the value ‘BATEMEN W’ for ASIN Z in the Amazon catalogue. If this is ASIN ‘B07TNDF6WK’, update the value to match the ASIN data. If this is a different product, update identifying information (UPC/EAN/Part Number/etc).’

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks very much!

I have exactly the same issue with three of my listings. The Brand Name has been changed to ‘BATEMEN W’ and the item description has been deleted and replaced with ‘SA’.

Did you find a solution in the end?

I found a few more threads on the same issue but none with a definite solution.
I had tried contacting seller support a few times but got a generic reply explaining I would need to contact the brand owner (BATEMEN W) to make any changes, which is obviously no help! One thread suggested emailing managingdirector@amazon.co.uk and explaining the issue. This is what I have done and I received the reply below

We are currently investigating the issues you raise and will be back to you with a response in due course.
Thank you for your patience

This came through yesterday so I will wait a while and see what else I get back.

Have you tried changing your price or anything else in your detail pages - I think you will find that you have lost control of this.
I think it’s disgraceful that Amazon will not correct their mistake and all the response that you get from customer services is that the detail is controlled by BATEMEN W -who does not seem to exist.

Is your brand registered and enrolled in amazon brand registry?

We have our brand registered in the UK / EU / USA. We also have Amz Brand Registry in those countries. No one can change the brand on our items. It’s worth the investment.

And your problem would appear to be that you haven’t registered that brand as a trademark with the UKIPO (unless it is actually Tiny House - two words, not one), so you really have no protection or exclusiveness on it

I received an email from the ‘Executive Selling Partner Relations Teams’.

They request I submit an official notice through the Report Infringement form available through amazon you can report the brand infringement via the dedicated form in Seller Central:
https://sellercentral-europe.amazon.com/abuse-submission/form/intellectual-property

I used ‘Content on detail page is incorrect or not allowed as per Amazon’s policy’ category and entered all the details requested.
The email said they will investigate the claim and take appropriate action and follow up with me directly.

Fingers crossed we get somewhere with this…

You may want to hold off submitting that form.
My listings have been canceled which I thought, great I can now change the brand etc back to the correct data… No!
I am still unable to change the brand and description back to be correct, it just means now my best selling listing have been canceled. I have now had to send an appeal for each one explaining the same issue AGAIN!

The saga continues the brand name seems to be changing daily on my three related products. In the past week brand has changed to BATEMEN W, YOCUBY, YOCUCBY W, CQAIOR and my own Imperial Global and I can not get any sense out of Amazon customer services. Also today I received an email from seller central saying that one of the ASIN is search suppressed.
Come on Amazon get yourself sorted.
