NEED HELP -Restricted products violation - appeal
Hello everyone:
Because we sold a pet collar with vibration function, this product is not allowed to be sold in the UK. We received the following email from Amazon:
What additional information is required?
To address this issue, please send us a more detailed plan that provides:
– Greater detail on the root causes of your restricted product violations, including the specific product type and policy violated.
– Greater detail on the specific, proactive steps you will take to ensure this issue does not recur in the future.
We submitted a POA and delete the list, but Amazon still sent us a meesgage I show at the beginning of the post. Seems like my POA still doesn’t catch all the points, no or amazon approved. I would like some advice from sellers with experience in this area. Thank you very much~~~
I posted my POA as follows:
Dear amazon:
Thank you so much for your great support and sorry for keeping you waiting.
– Greater detail on the root causes of your restricted product violations, including the specific product type and policy violated.
The products we published do not comply with Category, Product, and Content Restrictions and Examples of Prohibited Listings policy in UK marketplace
The details are as follows:
ASIN: *
Violates Amazon’s Prohibited Products Policy: Category, Product, and Content Restrictions Animals and Animal Products:
Electrostatic dog collars, including both training and containment systems
Our main sales market in the past was the US market, and the automatic BIL synchronization function of the Amazon list machine was opened, and the list was automatically synchronized to UK marketplace But we don’t know that US marketplace and UK marketplacehave different restricted product policies, and some categories that can be sold on US marketplace are not allowed to be sold on UK marketplace
– Greater detail on the specific, proactive steps you will take to ensure this issue does not recur in the future.
1. Restudied the Category, Product, and Content Restrictions , Examples of Prohibited Listings and Restricted Products FAQ page of UK marketplace, especially carefully read the detailed information of some categories we sell, and increased the understanding of this policy.
2.Rechecked all the lists in the store, and excluded some asins involving the restricted sales policy of UK marketplace from the BIL list of US marketplace. To confirm that none of the products we sell are in breach of UK marketplace. Restrictions Policy.
For example, after we learned that Nebulisers were also a prohibited item, we also closed the asin to similar products we were selling.
We have disconnected asin is as follows:
3 Before selling a new product, first confirm whether it can be sold on UK marketplace.
We will communicate with our suppliers to find out if products are available for sale in specific regions and countries.
besides, when we’re not sure if a product is for sale, we also look for answers through Seller University and Seller Forums. If we are still unsure, we will further confirm through seller support;
4. In the future, before list a new products on the US site, we will also consider whether to violate the UK and European restricted product policies. If it is suspected of violation, we will add this asin to the BIL exclusion list before listing to prevent it from automatically synchronizing on the European site. Or not sales in the US as well. This ensures that we do not violate Amazon’s policies.
5. We understand that Amazon’s restriction policy may be kept updated, and we will regularly review the restricted product policy, examples of prohibited products and our product catalog. Also, keep an eye on Amazon’s emails and forums, as well as in the media regarding any restricted product policy notices.
6. Check the emails of the Amazon performance team and the performance notifications in time, and deal with related problems as soon as possible.
